CoCrMo can be used for high temperature applications. This alloy offers excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical properties at elevated temperatures. It is widely applied in the manufacture of orthopedic devices, and in AM. It is biocompatible and has superior mechanical & thermal properties including: high elastic modulus, tensile strength & temperature resistance in addition to superior wear & corrosion resistance.
